Description: Position: Federal Government Technical Proposal Writer MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND AND TERMINOLOGY Description: * Research, write, rewrite, and edit material for document development for proposals, capability statements, presentations, qualifications, and other assignments. * Use the appropriate level of editing; clarify text and graphics for thought, continuity, applicability, and readability and adherence to company styles and standards; query technical accuracy; eliminate jargon and superfluous content; create headings and subheadings, and table and figure action titles; check and correct grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, spelling, inconsistencies, and formats. Develop, format, or simplify matrices, tables, and graphics. * Perform quality control reviews on proposals and proposal component. Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Federal and Commercial, check matrices, outlines, and schedules and create proposal checklists and ftp site structures for required team material. Research and create all award nomination forms and ensure distribution to teaming members. * Interview the subject matter professionals to create or expand their writing assignments, tailor resumes in accordance with RFP instructions, and build or review existing templates. Lead team meetings and schedules the required staff to assist in bid and proposal preparation. Serve as team reviewer. * Create and maintain marketing materials to include project descriptions and resumes. * Ensures proposal compliance with RFP requirements. Coordinates all packages for bids, proposals, and technical bid packages. Highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Empowerment, Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design preferred experience. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt and react to dynamic scheduling. Ability to work extended hours when necessary. Professional Degree from an accredited college/university preferred. Five years of Federal Proposal experience and 10 years of general proposal experience. Solid understanding of the federal government procurement process and policies.
