1 Developer - Derivatives

We are currently seeking a C++ Developer in Lower Manhattan, New York City who will support the integration of the derivatives systems from The Client. This Developer will be responsible for coding, testing and supporting a USD wire application for interest rate derivatives in Summit.

Analyze user requirements and write functional /system specifications

Design, develop and deploy USD wire interface

Perfrom unit and integrated testing and assist with user acceptance testing



Technical knowledge/skills requirements:

Minimum of 3 Years experience using Windows, C++ and SYBASE

Experience with Summit or Derivatives Trading System a plus

Experience in building real-time interfaces between heterogeneous systems

Experience with JAVA and One Year experience with XML is a plus

Some working knowledge of MQ Series a plus

Good problem solving and communication skills

College degree in Computer Science, Math, Science or Engineering Required

Experience in systems project life cycle is preferred, i.e., SDLC, CMM

Proven project leader and self-starter who can work well without constant guidance and direction.



For your role in working closely with business users and facilitation of communication of requirements, you should demonstrate:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effective professional relationship building skills

Consensus building and facilitation skills
