Description: Our client, a Fortune 100 company is actively seeking intermediate desktop support analysts for a six month contract placement. REQUIREMENTS. 3+ yrs desktop support experience in large enterprise Windows environments (500+ users minimum) Strong knowledge of and previous work experience with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Professional, Blackberry support and Market Data. Strong knowledge of and previous work experience with the Microsoft application suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of and previous work experience with networking, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, IPSEC, Cisco VPN, DNS and DHCP This person must be willing and eager to learn new and challenging concepts, able to work under tight time lines, flexible to deal with rapidly changing priorities and skilled to deal with stressful situations. Other skills essential for this assignment: You are a highly motivated and energetic individual with a minimum 2-4 years desktop experience with 1-2 years server administration experience in a NT 4.0 / Windows 2000/2003 server environment. You have demonstrated proficiency at account maintenance, backups, and administration responsibilities for both File, Print, Application, Exchange services. Knowledge and experience in server administration including Active Directory is beneficial. Knowledge and experience with System Management Servers is beneficial
