Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 95654BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description The successful candidate is a client-side programmer who will code and maintain subscription offers and associated ecommerce vehicles throughout the Time Inc. network (Time, People, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, Fortune, Money, Real Simple, etc). Excellent JavaScript skills are required, as the candidate will custom code scripts for our unique and ever-changing marketing and reporting needs. In addition to JavaScript, the candidate should have some experience with ActionScript and Flash. The Operations team is responsible for implementation of Omniture coding, so technical experience with Omniture is a plus. Experience in a fast-paced, deadline environment producing high quality web pages and applications is desired, as is an awareness of cross-browser/platform compatibility issues. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a small but highly visible team crucial to online marketing, and will have opportunities to shape marketing vehicles and influence technical implementations in an environment that is supportive of professional development and the integration of new technologies. Required Skills: Advanced JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, Flash. Bonus: TCL and StoryServer experience. The ideal candidate will have an eager attitude towards learning. The position requires good problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and resourcefulness. Good communications skills are essential. An interest in the workings of our marketing business is highly valued. Qualifications: Candidate should have a bachelors degree or higher. Reports to Assistant Director, Internet Operations
