Description: Senior Programmer Analyst * Apply for this job Department: ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS Location: Downtown Manhattan Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst in our Asset Servicing Technology Division in Lower Manhattan. Responsibilities include: * Performing analysis of software requirements. * Developing software based on specifications provided. * Performing software testing to identifying software defects in code and documentation * Writing and execution of test plans/scripts * Ensuring that quality practices are adhered to using the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) * Willingness to provide on-call availability beyond normal working hours as necessary Business Skills: * Must have 5-7 years experience developing with Client Server applications. * Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with several of the following technologies: .Net, C#, VB.Net, Microsoft visual basic, IIS, MTS/COM+, ASP * Must have working knowledge of SQL server 2000 and 2005, HTML, DHTML * Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills * Knowledge of the Securities Industry a plus, specifically Hedge Funds Accounting * Self starter who takes ownership of projects. Some lead development experience. Education/Licenses/Certifications: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline * Programmer/Developer Certifications Full/Part Time: Full Time Customary Work Schedule/Standard Hours: 35
