Description: Our Client in Buffalo, NY is looking for a VB Programmer. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing enhancements to the existing production systems, including determining business requirements, writing technical specs, programming and testing. They will also be involved in troubleshooting and maintenance of existing application modules. Desired qualifications: We are looking for a candidate that has 4+ years experience using VB 6, MS SQL 2000/2005, and Active X Data Objects (ADO). Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Team Foundation Server (source safe) is a plus. Essential qualifications: Candidate must have 4 years of working with VB 6 development with production applications. Previously applied knowledge of MS SQL Server and processes a must. Attention to detail is expected along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong in time and project management skills are essential. Candidates will be expected to handle projects independently, while at the same time using their team as learning resources.
