JOB DESCRIPTION:















DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:







Selected candidate will be assigned to execute following tasks under the Food Stamp Employment (FSE) project:







1. Design, code and implement complex web-based software utilizing the Microsoft Dot Net platform.



2. Responsible for reviewing requirements, analyzing the impact of the requirements on development, and bringing any resulting issues

to the attention of the project manager.



3. Work with the team responsible for installing software changes. Write the release notes, monitor the installation, and check it after it has been

installed.



4. Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation.



5. Design and implementation of complex stored procedures written in Microsoft SQL while ensuring that the procedure code is efficient. In-depth

knowledge of SQL query is a must.



6. Participate in meetings with users to demonstrate the product.



7. Help develop and follow application development standards.





Required Skills:-







MANDATORY Requirements







Minimum four (4) years of experience in .NET Framework including: VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB6, Java Script, XML, Web Services, VBScript, C#.

Should be experienced in object oriented concepts/technologies

Minimum four (4) years of development experience with Oracle as backend. Candidate should be experienced in writing very complex SQL, should have strong knowledge of oracle packages, stored procedures and functions.

Knowledge of SOA trends, SOA standards including web service, XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI is a must





DESIRABLE Experience



Experience with reports development using reporting tools like Crystal Report, Web Focus, SQL Reporting Services

Experience and strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, development principles, and techniques.

Strong understanding of web servers (IIS), application servers, and other elements of an internet/intranet infrastructure.

Experience in web designing and Photoshop, Flash.

Extensive experience in time-critical, real-time web applications

Experience writing user controls and server controls

Ability to work well with others in a team environment; excellent communication skills, both written and oral; high motivation level and superior attention to detail.
