Description: This company invites you to apply for our Sr. Programmer/Analyst - SAP Oil & Gas/SD/MM). This position supports the Product Supply and Fuel Accounting business areas with development and daily support needs. You will be responsible for writing of technical specifications, coding, testing and documenting software modifications to meet business requirements. You will also lead new development as required within the SAP environment.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

"Analyze complex business requirements and compose detailed system specifications.

"Develop and maintain advanced application programs based upon system specifications.

"Participate in system and integration testing.

"Troubleshoot, identify and resolve day to day problems that occur within the programs or software.

"Supervise the application of updates and fixes to the software applications based upon business areas needs.

"Develop end user documentation.



Position Specifications:

"Understanding of the full life cycle system development.

"Advanced technical skills with SAP ABAP including dialog and ALV Grid programming.

"Hands-on knowledge of SAP configuration specifically in modules MM/SD.

"Independently designs, codes, tests and implements ABAP program and modifications of higher levels of complexity.

"Work with their specific business area lead and programmer/analyst to configure SAP module(s) to achieve the desired "best business" practices as they relate to company and all its associated businesses.

"Assist the Systems Development Manager in guidance and training of subordinate programming personnel.

"Assume a lead position of responsibility for their specific modules when a project in the nature of an SAP upgrade is undertaken.

"Provide SAP production system support services including investigation of processing errors and system problems.

"Codes, tests and implements ABAP program and modifications.



Position Requirements:

"B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with six (6) years SAP development within the Materials Management and Secondary Distribution (MM/SD) arenas. Oil & Gas module desired.

"Excellent oral and written communication skills.

"Background in Accounting or finance a plus

"Proven history of performance in the SAP arena.

"Ability to work under pressure in order to handle production support

issues.

"Self starter able to work with general supervision.

"Must possess MS Office familiarity (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).

"Creativity and latitude required
