PeopleSoft Technical - Developer
Department:
IT&S PeopleSoft.
Job Summary:
A member of the PeopleSoft IT&S Group; specializing as a technical developer/analyst with in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Supply Chain (Inv, Pur, Rec, & ePro). In addition, knowledge with PeopleSoft HRMS and Finance (AP, GL, HR/Payroll) will be a plus. Release 8.8+ experiences necessary. Primary role is to provide daily technical production support to affiliate sites, to assist in the implementations of new affiliates, and to assist with upgrades of new releases. The individual in this position will be viewed as the technical subject matter specialist.
Education, Training and Experience: Certification/Licensure:
Bachelor’s degree required. PeopleSoft education classes or equivalent required. PeopleSoft Technical certification and Healthcare experience is a plus. Hands-on experience necessary (3-8 years).
Special Equipment, Skills, or Other Requirements:
Must have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Mercury Interactive, Quest STAT, Internet, E-Mail and project scheduling tools. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to provide superior customer service.
Work Environment and Hazards:
Must be able to function in a fast-paced and challenging office environment. Must be able to accept customers need to constantly reprioritize projects. Will be required to travel to different affiliates within the health care system.
Work contact Group:
Key contacts at affiliate sites. Must work well with other PeopleSoft IT&S Team members, including consultants.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Supply Chain (ePro, Inv, Pur, & Rec) and/or HRMS (Payroll and Human Resources) and or Finance (Accounts Payables & General Ledger). Release 8.8+ necessary.
• Understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, process scheduler, technical processes and administration.
• Prior technical hands-on experience (PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Integration Broker and SQR). Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Have previously participated in a PeopleSoft application implementation or upgrade as a member of a project team.
• Have supported PeopleSoft application(s) in a production environment.
• Good understanding of application policies, practices and processing, with attention to testing and documentation.
• Have previously written specifications, developed project plans, written status reports, and provided timelines.
• Some supervisory experience would be a plus; leading project teams and organizing team member workloads.
• Well-versed in system administration (change control, meaningful documentation, security).
• Broad knowledge of PeopleSoft reporting tools (SQR, PS/Query, Crystal, and nVision).
• Perform all other duties as required.
