Description: AS400 / RPG Developer / Analyst - Relational Database Design

AS400 / RPG Developer / Analyst - (Relational Database Design) Location: South Plainfield, NJ Duration: Full-time/perm Responsibilities: • Support the business intelligence and reporting demands of the company using AS400 Query, SQL, RPG and Cognos. • Full life cycle development of business applications including intranet and internet. • Analyze, review and modify existing applications including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. • Collaborate with team members regularly to reach the goals set by the team

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience • MUST have a minimum of 3 to 5 years progressive experience in information technology. • Must have strong understanding & experience with relational database design and query with the ability to apply these skills throughout varied platforms (AS/400, Microsoft SQL, and Cognos). • AS400 Query and RPG programming experience • Strong understanding of web development tools and platforms such as ASP.NET, ColdFusion, HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript a plus. • Excellent communication skills are required.
