Description: THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DESIGNING, DEVELOPING AND TESTING JAVA BACK-END PROGRAMMING LOGIC.



The candidate filling this JAVA developer position will design, develop and test JAVA based business/Data Access layer to interact with back-end score management system, and application interface with multiple external systems.

The candidate will perform in a lead developer role, writing requirements/ technical specifications/ use cases, coding, mentoring other developers, leading internal testing efforts and working closely with business analysts. Candidate is expected to demonstrate expertise in Java, J2EE, JSF, JDBC, JUnit, Web Services, XML, ANT, JAX, Hibernate. The candidate is expected to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.



EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate must have be an outstanding technical expert, be a **self-starter** and have 7 years of programming experience in JAVA/XML and Oracle database. Looking for a team player to contribute to the design and implement the back-end JAVA application. General experience in open source and design patterns are a plus.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. JAVA

2. XML

3. Good interpersonal skills

4. Knowledge of JAVA 1.4 and greater, J2EE, and JEE5

5. WEB application infrastructure and deployment JAVA servlet-based applications

6. XML/XSL Familiarity with common developer tools (Ant, version control system, etc.)

7. JavaScript programming Database-centric applications

8. Oracle databases JBoss and Websphere application servers



EDUCATION:

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with coursework in the information processing or business-related curricula, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
