Date Posted: 5/26/2005 Location: Princeton, New Jersey Division Information Technology Position #: IT05052 Job Type: Full Time Description -Manages a small application development team for a single application or multiple small, non-complex applications. Serves as project manager and provides technical leadership and direction for multiple system design initiatives. -Hires and manages performance and development of staff members and recommends salary increases, promotions and bonuses. -Assigns responsibilities, identifies needed resources and develops project plans to ensure timely completion of projects. -Provides initiative/project oversight and management to achieve project success criteria. -Reviews project plans and deliverables and monitors task deadlines. -Oversees maintenance and support of existing software applications. -Manages and monitors systems testing process for new and/or enhanced applications. -Consults with vendors, client and auditors as needed to address and resolve issues and ensure project deliverables are met. -Oversees production support for all applications supported. -Serves as technical expert in designing and developing software applications supporting complex projects including evaluation of system development processes.
