Description: Our client is a Major Investment Bank and they are looking for a Strong .Net Web Developer with the following experience.



Work in team-oriented environment, supporting Transversal applications and interfaces to and from these systems.

Serves as a technical coordinator of project and enhancement efforts which may involve other BL ITEC teams, locally and at other locations.

Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

Use SDLC concepts for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.

Provide production support for existing applications.

Follow policies and procedures like change management, project governance and software configuration management.



TECHNICAL SKILLS

Required/Must have:

Relational database development skills, preferably in MS SQL Server or Sybase.

This includes SQL, data modeling and development

.NET framework

Scheduling tools like Autosys



Desired/Plus:

Experience in the following

Experience with XML technologies including XSD and XSLT

Reporting tools like Excel, Crystal, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.

Testing tools

Datawarehouse technologies



BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE

Generic knowledge of transversal processes: RISK (e.g., BASLE II), exception management, and referential maintenance



Plus:

Experience with investment banking products like commercial lending, foreign exchange products, derivative products, etc. (2 years or more)

Knowledge of risk and accounting principles

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

Required/Must have:

5+ year application development with the required technical experience listed above.

Direct interaction with business line users or business analysts.



Plus:

Extensive banking experience



EDUCATION

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related.
