Description: Minimum of 5 years experience in application and system design, developing specifications and/or prototypes, and the development, maintenance, and testing of programs and systems. Design application sub-systems and small systems, develop program specifications/detail design documents, and participate in the development of functional specifications. -Code, test, and debug complex application programs -Provide technical direction to programmers and programmer analysts -Assist users in testing, training, and preparation for operations -Develop and/or lead prototype development -Able to perform as a team leader if necessary -Works under the direction of a team leader or project manager Description: The position requires an experienced applications developer to support and International Banking Platform. In addition, the following will be expected: 1. Provide production support as well as help in maintaining these applications. 2. Provide end-user-support -- help desk type (NOT infrastructure related -- purely application level support for users). 3. Provide any help in application development, based on any available bandwidth. 4. Create and document all user-support related activities -- with a view to create and maintain a repository of all user queries, trouble-shooting guidelines as well as FAQs and also provide some proactive reports to the technology as well as business folks to add additional enhancements / features to address commonly encountered user-requests in the following releases.
