Responsibilities: Job Description: The position is that of a mid-level developer on a team using the .NET technology developing a mission critical application supporting Managed accounts. The primary responsibilities of this position will include building and deploying the application, coordinating with operational teams and other development teams, solving technical problems in the integration process and promoting and enforcing technical standards. Additional responsibilities may include implementation of new applications and functionality as well as support the current version. A person in this position is expected to accept full accountability for his or her own work, as well as jointly own responsibility for the team's success. In the execution of these responsibilities, a person in this position is expected to preserve and promote the standard development practices within the firm. Qualified candidate will communicate effectively with peers and internal partners and will be able to work with minimal supervision. This position will work with multiple geographies, business units, administrative functions and system applications and platforms

Qualifications: Skills Required: • Build and support distributed n-tier applications using .NET (C#, ASP) • Demonstrated skill and ability in software design, programming, testing, and debugging and a sound SDLC understanding. • Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed organizations, including close collaboration with infrastructure teams. • Ability to work closely with off-shore development partners • Strong development skills using stored procedures, triggers, agile process and structured development cycle methods, and development support. Experience Required • 3-10+ years experience as a software developer, including experience using .NET framework. • Specific experience working with several of the following technologies: TFS SQL Server C# Wyse Installer TSQL ASP.net Authentication Directory SQL Reporting Services Java Script Skills Desired: • Experience working with ERP applications specifically with Financial Accounting Packages. • Experience using RUP methods and/or Rationale tools a plus. • Experience with trading or transaction processing applications in the financial industry. • Experience using RUP methods and/or Rationale tools. • Positive experience working closely with an off-shore team. Education Required: • Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
