Since 1998, Tradeweb has operated a global trading network, which harnesses the distribution of the major investment banks with over 2,200 institutional clients. With its expansion into the equity markets, Tradeweb is leveraging AutEx, the industry leader for 40 years in providing indications of interests, and Thomson Order Routing, a global FIX network with more than 6,000 connections to over 750 firms. Currently, Tradeweb is engaged in building a Retail Fixed Income platform to compliment its award winning Institutional Fixed Income Platform. This product will increase Tradeweb%27s ability to service all sectors of the fixed income world. We are in the early stages of creating an enterprise level platform that will be used by some of the largest firms in the world. The Tradeweb Retail application is based on .NET technologies. Enhancements to the existing product are: * Scaling/architecture enhancements to allow the necessary growth. * Enriching the Retail oriented trading functionality of the platform. * Increasing the number of both supported trading protocols, and supported products. * Creating FIX based APIs that will allow client firms to integrate the platform into their existing infrastructure. * Creating new functionality superior to that provided by our competitors. We are looking for a developer with strong experience with C# and ASP.NET to join this team. In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of key front, back and middle tier components as required by the business deliverables.!*! Required Skills: * Strong C#/C++ skills, at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a trading (or any similar high-cost-of-failure) environment. * ASP.NET Experience. An understanding of the following concepts is required: ASP.NET request processing lifecycles, HTTP protocol, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS. * SQL development skills such as T-SQL, stored procedures and performance troubleshooting abilities. * Strong multi-threading experience. * ASP.NET 2.0+ experience is a plus. * Familiarity with FIX development and/or Fixed Income products/trading are strong pluses.Our employees embrace a number of commonly shared values - collaboration, accountability, customer focus, a bias toward action and results, appreciation and respect for diversity, entrepreneurial spirit and, at all times, the highest ethical standards.
