Description: Thomas-Matthew Associates, based out of Newtown, PA is a full service recruiting firm that specializes in providing individual attention to our clients and candidates.



Position Summary:

A Solution Developer (SD) is primarily responsible for developing and implementing the technical components of a relationship marketing program according to solution architecture and technical specifications. In doing so, the SD is responsible for applying Rosetta technical standards and best practices. The SD is also responsible for testing the final system application and ensuring proper deployment to the appropriate client staging and production areas.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports the development and documentation of complex software application architectures (works with the Database Developer/Architect and System Engineer/Architect for their specialties)

Develops code for appropriate solution modules/objectives according to the approved technical and functional specifications. May include developing business logic for the application tier as well as the database tier. Integrates user interface components for a seamless solution.

Unit tests appropriate code modules as well tests entire system.

Applies technical standards and best practices for application development

Familiarity with MS Platform technologies including ASP.Net, VB.NET and .NET frameworks, SQL Server

Develop master-level competencies in numerous application track specialties (e.g. Application Servers, OOP, .NET)

Keep current with object and component methodology and technology (e.g., via technical journals, conferences, and personal research).



Experience Requirements:

2 - 6 years of project experience performing application and solution development including at least 4 years of interactive solution development.



Education/Training Requirements:

Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable degree. Master’s or higher degree preferred.



Microsoft development (e.g. MCSD) preferred.
