Description: Thomas-Matthew Associates, based out of Newtown, PA is a full service recruiting firm that specializes in providing individual attention to our clients and candidates.



Client in the Trenton, NJ area is seeking a Flash / Flex Developer. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in a professional creative environment with knowledge of both ActionScript and the standard Flash production methods. A thorough understanding of ActionScript 2.0 (AS 3.0 a plus) is required including OOP concepts, XML data exchange, integration with web services and programmatic tweening and animation. The ability to quickly produce lightweight, clean, organized code is a necessity. Candidates should be prepared to direct production personnel and provide assistance to staff with ActionScript and Flash related issues, as well as perform some minor production duties themselves. Strong design sensibility is a plus. We need a flash/web developer with the following:

Object oriented programming (OOP) with Action Script 2 and 3

XML, JavaScript, XHTML, and CSS

Experience building rich web sites and multimedia applications including RIA’s for web and kiosks.

Ajax as it pertains to rich applications a big plus

Experience integrating flash with server technologies (must be able to read/write an XML document without having to convert it into Objects first)

Experienced with speed and file size optimization in Flash

Exposure to Adobe AIR for desktop deployment

UI and wireframe experience
