Description: SAS Programmer/Analyst Tracking Code 446 Job Description Job Description Social & Scientific Systems, a growing employee-owned, technical and research support firm, has an immediate opening for a SAS Senior Programmer / Programmer Analyst. Under supervision, will work with large complex health care databases and files, primarily in the PC environment, to produce statistical output; may work directly with clients and prepare documentation to accompany deliverables.

Required Skills *Bachelors’ degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics, quantitative social science, or related field *At least three years working experience in SAS applications programming, including proficiency in using SAS DATA step to perform complex file manipulation *Experience with data editing and descriptive statistics *Experience with health care data a plus *Strong analytical skills *Ability to work accurately and efficiently to produce high-quality products *Experience in Stata or SUDAAN a plus *Excellent oral communication and writing skills Job Location Silver Spring, MD, US.
