Description: Teksystems has partnered with a large financial regulatory company in Rockville MD to bring in a Senior J2EE Developer to join a fast pace environment. This candidate will report to the development lead and is responsible for contributing technical JEE and Java solutions while providing technical guidance to the other development team members through design & code reviews.

o 5+ years of experience in: # OO design and development # Hard-core java development o 5+ years of experience with the following technologies # Java (J2EE, Struts, tag library, servlets, jsp) # XML # Web-based applications # SOAP # Ant # SQL # Oracle # Unix/Linux o 2+ years of experience with the following technologies # Spring framework # Hibernate # AJAX

o Experience working in small, fast pace company environments o Agile software development practices o Experience using software development best practices o Excellent communication and writing skills o Product development methodologies o Experience using open source technologies o Be satisfied with a commute to and from Rockville, MD o Bachelors degree or higher in CS or related field
