None Currently possess security clearance? None Location Rockville, MD % Travel Relocation Yes Requirements Will be responsible for writing use cases and tracing requirements to business needs. Elicit and develop Use Case models using UML. Will accurately identify business and system use cases while capturing and documenting requirements by type (functional, non-functional). WIll have advanced knowledge of the Unified Process Framework and/or RUP, and how the Requirements Management workflows fit into the process. Demonstrate capability to oversee the creation of a Requirements Management Plan and the adoption of it by the project teams and stakeholders. Demonstrate capability to plan and facilitate requirements workshops and any other elicitation technique for any size group. Elicit requirements using multiple techniques including: interviews, workshops, document analysis, data analysis, storyboarding, prototyping and use case reviews. Ability to accurately identify business and system use cases. Capture and document those requirements by type (functional, non-functional). REQUIRED SKILLS: Possession of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in biological or computer and analytical sciences or four (4) years of related experience in lieu of degree. Masters Degree preferred. Foreign educated candidates who have completed part or all of their education outside of the United States must have their foreign education evaluated by an SAIC-approved accrediting organization to assure that it has met the equivalency of the qualifications of degree work in the United States. In addition to educational requirements, a minimum of six (6) years of experience in bioinformatics, developing applications using JSP (Java Server Pages) and a relational database system. Will have experience with Unix, Javascript, Perl, Business Objects(TM), Web development technologies (HTML/DHTML/XML, ColdFusion). Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL. Experience writing use cases and tracing requirements to business needs. Expertise with eliciting and developing Use Case models using UML. Ability to accurately identify business and system use cases and capture and document those requirements by type (functional, non-functional). Advanced knowledge of the Unified Process Framework and/or RUP, and how the Requirements Management workflows fit into the process. This position is subject to obtaining a Public Trust clearance. DESIRED SKILLS: The ideal candidate would also software development experience for biological application and have Bioinformatics skills for genetic analysis, sequence analysis, genomics, sequencing, data mining, lab instrument interfaces, robotics.
