None Location Lexington Park, MD % Travel Relocation No Requirements Job Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate(s) will design, develop, and maintain Command and Control and ground support/analysis systems for the P-3C, P-8A and various allied aircraft. He/She will develop and maintain C/C++ on UNIX, and/or Visual C source code on Windows, and the production of system/software design documentation in accordance with military and commercial standards. Candidates with longer/higher levels of experience may be responsible for the oversight of the personnel assigned to a specific project/task; monitoring technical compliance; producing/maintaining development schedules; and reporting progress to higher levels of management. Education/Experience Requirements: Associates degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science and two (2) of the last four (4) years of experience performing software development using C/C++ executing under UNIX, and Visual C executing under Microsoft Windows is the minimum requirement. High school diploma or GED and technical school(s) plus six (6) years of software development experience using C/C++ executing under UNIX, or Visual C executing under Microsoft Windows may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement. Must be a team player and be able to successfully meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
