JOB DESCRIPTION: Scope: Responsible for performing software analysis and testing specific to area of business. Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters to meet business requirements and hardware/software compatibility. Develops and leads technical projects. Provides fact-finding and research as required for the project. May design operational test and evaluations based on research and analysis. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). Provides guidance to others to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Works on complex problems. May supervise a team of multi-disciplinary personnel to ensure congruence of the various hardware, software, communications and interface approaches. Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. Interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelors degree in a related technical field and 5+ years related experience. Excellent Perl Programming skills. Linux and shell scripting required.
