Description: Our client who is a reputable Energy company located in downtown Baltimore is currently seeking a Sr. .Net Developer to join their dynamic team for a 6 month contract to start, which will turn into a permanent opportunity. A motivated information technology professional is desired to support software build and architecture. Responsibilities include:

Architect and build product systems using Agile Development methodology . Play a leading role in the development of software development build, of .NET applications, as well as Middleware, Oracle PL/SQL, and other scripting applications. . Manage the installation and configuration of commercial software used for electric meter interval data storage

Requirements: Qualified applicant must have BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Science discipline (or equivalent experience); at least five years programming experience; at least three years of professional experience in software development life cycle; hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft .Net programming suite (VS 2008), Java, Database concepts (SQL and Oracle) as well as other scripting languages such as Perl or UNIX shell scripts. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Tibco experience and familiarity with the energy industry a plus.
