The Senior Software Engineer will be a senior member on the companys primary team for developing cutting-edge advertising optimization and scheduling software, which is branded as "AdLearn." This position will help lead the development, test, and deployment of AdLearn technologies in the C# and Microsoft .NET environments. The ideal candidate will not only be well versed in objected oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP) and the software design lifecycle (SDLC), but will also have outstanding coding skills and a strong desire to learn. This engineer will work together with other team members to ensure that software solutions meet stated quality, performance, and business goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: . Lead implementations of enterprise software to stated business and technical goals o Create robust, scalable, maintainable software solutions o Create solutions that deal effectively with extremely large volumes of data o Communicate effectively in both verbal (day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written forms (requirements and design specifications) o Create, assign, and manage technical tasks, documentation, and time information per company and team standards o Accurately assess project risks associated with development activities . Perform various duties that advance the capabilities of the Optimization team: o Support the development of other team members from a professional and technical level o Review and contribute to research and development efforts . Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions . Effectively manage multiple priorities . Be able to occasionally travel as necessary . Perform additional job-related duties as requested Skills: . Demonstrated strong team leadership skills on software development projects . Demonstrated attention to detail in software implementation . Ability to coach, mentor and train software developers in a technical organization . Experience in executing a software implementation plan . Thorough understanding of object-oriented design principles . Distinguished experience in C#, C++, or Java programming (C# preferred) . Experience in the design and implementation of scientific/computational software . Experience in the the creation of business logic and service-oriented architectures . Experience with software performance optimization . Excellent ability to understand and express complex topics . Excellent English communications skills

Education / Experience: . Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, AND . Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software design, OR . Relevant combination of education and experience.
