The BearingPoint Hanover, Maryland State and Local Team is currently searching for a Mainframe Programmer with strong MQ Series experience. Position Profile: The individual will be responsible for writing and debugging programs. They will also be responsible for running tests on programs they develop. They will be in charge of implementing change report requests for programs. They will troubleshoot, analyze and resolve problems in programs as they arise. They will be responsible for conducting production batch support. Position specific required skills: -Bachelors Degree in IT, CS or some technical discipline. -3+ years development experience in Mainframe, COBOL and MQSeries. -2+ years experience integrating and troubleshoot complex systems. -Working knowledge of common software packages on the Mainframe, i.e., Endeavor, File-AID and Intertest Position specific desired skills: -Development experience in CICS Transaction Server, VSAM, JCL, or REXX -Masters Degree in a technical discipline.
