Description: Director Statistical Programming



Major East coast Biotechnology firm has a key opportunity for a senior level manager to direct the daily activities within their Statistical Programming team. This position is responsible for managing a department of statistical programmers. Resource and performance management are key activities, including strategic outsourcing. Responsibilities of the position also include the definition and implementation of new processes and/or process improvements including development of standard reporting environments. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related field. Additional requirements include: a minimum of 8 years in a pharmaceutical, biotech or medical devise company or Contract Research Organization; a minimum of 6 years experience in statistical programming in a regulated environment and a minimum of 5 years of line management experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
