Description: Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Analysis of business requirements and subsequent creation of high level technical design documents and technical specifications, in accordance with company architecture standards.
* Development of application code as necessary, using Java, WebSphere and Struts.
* Unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.
* Identification, documentation and estimation of technical tasks for projects of varying sizes and levels of complexity.
* Analysis and identification of technical areas of improvement within existing web applications.
* Work with other internal IT teams to complete project activities, such as Infrastructure, Architecture and Database teams.




* Currently seeking a Senior J2EE/Java Websphere Designer/Developer with 5(+) years experience working on high-volume, transactional public web site(s).
* Must also have work experience and technical knowledge of:
Java
J2EE
WebSphere (including WSAD)
EJB
JSP
HTML
Unix (AIX)
Struts Framework (or other similar frameworks)
UML/Rational Rose
XML
Oracle (in terms of data access)

Required interpersonal skills are as follows:
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated. High level of initiative.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Team motivator and team player.
* Ability to multi-task.
