Description: Our client is a very well know large company. They are currently developing web applications used within their industry. Aavalar Consulting has been exclusively engaged to provide a Java Developer who will program most like in J2EE framework.



Consultant's Title: Java J2EE Developer



Work Location: Wilmington DE



Is Telecommuting possible? No... There is lots of specialized equipment.. You need to be there



Work environment : Cube in a low rise office building in a sprawling office campus



Who does this position will report to?: Manager of Software Development



Why is there a need for a consultant/contractor?

The project and the group is growing. Java skills are needed



What is the start date of the contract?: ASAP



What is the anticipated length/scope of the contract?: 6 months to hire.



What is the size of department?: 6+



What projects will the consultant be involved with?:

new and existing web applications.



Responsibilities:

Design and develop the new J2EE web applications and review and improve the existing products.



Role with the group : Consultant



Required Skills:

3+ years of Java development experience

J2EE experience

JSP

SQL





Desired Skills:

JSF

HTML

Tomcat web server

Springs (nice to have)

Hibernate (nice to have)
