Description: The Application ETL Developer will primarily be responsible for extracting data from source systems, transforming the data (i.e. standardizing, cleaning, de duping, etc), and then mapping and loading the data into the corporate data warehouse (ODW).



The developer will also be responsible for optimizing any processes, programs, and functions to improve data quality, data security, and data consistency.



Essential Functions:



The essential functions of Application ETL Developer will be to:



· Extract data from source systems



· Transform data via standardization, cleaning, data repair, matching, and deduping



· Manage multiple data sources including internal, external, and 3rd party source system data



· Manage all technical aspects of the ETL process



· Performance tuning of ETL processes



· Assist in developing feeds to departmental Data Marts



· Ability to be a strategic business partner/consultant for ODW development



· Ensure ODW is able to provide required information to all departments



· Ensure ODW is able to provide highly targeted lists of customers based on any data attributes, including demographic attributes, transactional behaviors, and event triggers

Experience & Qualifications:



Qualifications for this position will include:



· Extensive working knowledge of Oracle Database, Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling, and Full Life Cycle Design and Application Development



· In depth knowledge of the Informatica tool



· Extensive SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure, Packages, and Windows scripting skills.



· Experience creating and maintaining an extraction, transformation, and loading process (ETL) from source systems into a data warehouse, mart, or both



· Oracle DBA fundamental skills including maintaining a large database, data cleansing and customer house holding experience



· In depth knowledge OLAP application development



· At least 5 years of experience in database systems





Education and/or Certifications:



Graduate level and/or equivalent work experience preferred





Technical skills and abilities:



· Proven experience with applications listed above in "Essential Functions" section



· Informatica development and administration skills required



· At least three years of experience in ETL development and database system is required
