Description ROLE: Responsible for designing and developing data Extract/Transform/Load processes for loading the Marketing Data Warehouse. Must have strong technical skills, and be eager to learn new & demanding techniques. Must be highly motivated and highly productive.

RESPOSIBILITIES: * Perform ETL design adhering to ETL development standards for a large, complex oracle warehouse environment. * Design data transformation processes within the Data Warehouse environment * Write/Maintain reusable & transferable shell scripts to move data, enforce dependency, * flag success or failure, log status etc. * Construct Kornshell driver routines (write, test and implement UNIX scripts). * Develop and mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in"Perform application development, enhancement, and maintenance support for ETL application code for services ranging from simple to extremely complex. * Develop ETL processes using SQL and PLSQL Stored Procedures * Conduct design and code walkthroughs * Conduct unit test of ETL processes * Optimize ETL processes for best performance * Work to resolve challenging technical problems * Assist Technical Architect in performing Data Quality Assessments * Assist Business Analyst in performing Functional Testing * Assist in the development of efficient batch stream processes in a complex environment * Provide on- and off-hours support of production ETL processes for the application

Qualifications TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: * 3-5 years of experience developing in Unix * Strong knowledge of Unix kshell scripting * Strong knowledge of SQL * Strong Experience developing in a Data Warehouse environment * Strong Experience developing PLSQL Stored Procedures

ADDITIONAL SKILLS: * Highly motivated - highly productive * Strong problem-solving ability * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Good communication skills, comfortable working with the user community * Experience working in a team environment * Self-starter

MUST HAVE: A minimum of two years directly applicable experience within the last three years.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / OTHER SKILLS: Extensive experience implementing Data warehouse applications in Oracle 9i, Unix Environment Experience in implementation and support of data warehouse environments required. Experience in Harvest Change Manager BA or BS in Computer Science or related area required.
