Description: Senior J2EE Developer Tracking Code 8065 Job Description Serves as the company expert in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex business, accounting, and management information systems. Works on complex assignments. Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives. Defines modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. Directs users in the operation of the application. Provides guidance to and may supervise less experienced programmer/analyst. Bachelor degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience, and ten to twelve years minimum of related experience is required. SI International is seeking a strong seasoned J2EE developer. Candidate will be working in a full software development lifecycle environment: Design, develop, code to enhance and test applications to meet client needs. Successful candidate should possess 4+ years of experience with Java and J2EE, (Business Objects experience a plus). Additional background and familiarity with Sybase, Web Services, XML, and web development standards a plus.

Candidate must be able to work under minimal direction, perform as a technical expert in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or complex enhancements to existing software. Work with technical staff to understand and to develop solutions to system issues. Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Participate in the development of software user manuals. Assist in the training of less experienced software development staff and may act as a team or technical lead.
