Description: PeopleSoft Application Developer Tracking Code 101003 Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for all facets of the analysis, planning, design and development effort for implementation, upgrade and production support related to PeopleSoft applications with the focus on Financials and Supply Chain modules * Develop detailed technical specifications using knowledge of PeopleSoft data model * Make recommendations to improve, streamline and automate specific PeopleSoft functional areas * Configure/develop PeopleSoft objects * Document the design and business process development * Work with end users to help resolve production support issues and current design issues. Provide end user training as needed. * Responsible for issue and problem monitoring. * Prepare test plans and assist in the system test and quality assurance process for vendor patches and system upgrades * Manage user expectations by providing feedback on alternatives and current status * Develop reports/queries to support business reporting needs * Coordinate module patches, bundles and upgrades, including testing, documentation and implementation Required Experience QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years of experience as a Software/Applications Administrator, Developer or Analyst or related discipline * 2+ years of PeopleSoft Technology Administration experience supporting either Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server platforms * 2+ years Development experience in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application * Functional/Technical experience in PeopleSoft version 8.8, or highera specifically in PeopleSoft Enterprise Finance and Supply Chain modules * Engine, Application Designer, PeopleSoft Cobol, and Component Interface is required * Must have implementation and development skills plus experience with the application implementation life cycle, including: requirement analysis, fit/gap analysis, application configuration, functional/technical specifications, integration, product enhancement and support * Experienced in security, workflow, customization standards, reporting (SQR, Crystal, PS nVision, PS/Query), and self-service applications * Experience with PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including Web, Application and Process Scheduler Servers. * Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Upgrade Assistant and/or Change Assistant tools * Hands-on SQL experience using technologies such as MS-SQL and Oracle DB * Experience in PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM and HR applications would be big plus * Experience in Quest STAT and/or Foglight would be big plus Job Location Washington, DC, US.
