Responsibility Work with hardware engineer in trouble shooting. Maintain and repair technology. Maintain records of repair, placement and maintenance of equipment. Must keep an adequate inventory of spare parts and equipment to facilitate the quick repair of computer equipment. Responsible for maintaining hardware test equipment. Qualifications: Required Experience: Digital and analog hardware troubleshooting Exp as an hardware technician. Preferred Experience (experience in one or more of the following is preferred): Working knowledge of telecom hardware Working knowledge of high speed digital hardware Working knowledge of analog hardware Have experience in manage and maintaining hardware test equipments. Required Skills: Have basic understanding of hardware trouble shooting technique. Strong skill in reworking Standard Job Description Sets up and tests a variety of systems and hardware components prior to field deployment and provides personal computer repair and test capability for all company departments. Analyzes failed equipment according to established methods or procedures and determine whether equipment is repairable in-house or must be returned to the vendor for repair. Performs standard repairs and tests of components or equipment that can be repaired in-house. Tests incoming repaired items from vendor to ensure that repairs were properly done. Performs preventive and on-demand maintenance on a variety of personal computer equipment. Security Clearance Secret Typical Minimums High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 Year of experience.
