Description: Aerotek is currently recruiting for a C++ Programmer for full-time permanent employment with a leading-edge technology company providing high-quality engineering and IT services to government and industry, to work in the Washington, D.C. locale. The primary tasks for this C++ Programmer include: - Implementation of a drag and drop graphical tool for design of simulated detector geometrics and materials, and simulated environments (Such a tool will be integrated into the overall graphical user interface) - Implementation of mathematical algorithms such as verification of the relationship between geometrical elements in the simulated detector and environment geometries and algorithms related to gamma ray detector analysis - Implementation of unit and integration tests for the system - Development and implementation of a quality assurance test system - Maintenance of various LINUX systems in use for program development - Other programming tasks as required for the program The C++ Programmer should meet the following requirements: - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline - Experience Level: 1 - 4 years - Programming skills required: C++, Python - Must work effectively as part of a team - Highly desired skills: CVS, GNU Make, GUI Design Candidate MUST possess OR have the ability to earn an U.S. Security Clearance Appropriate C++ Programmer candidates should contact: John Rice (571)480-5858 jrice@aerotek.com
