Description: Junior Developer / Powerbuilder / Financial Services







Candidate will work under the mentorship of a project manager/senior developer. Position will involve significant development in Powerbuilder to enhance the company’s global core trading and traffic system. Training will be provided as necessary







Great exposure to many business processes from end to end







Position Requirements:







0 to 5 years experience







Experience and/or education in one or more of the following:







Relational database concepts







Working knowledge of SQL, preferably Oracle PL/SQL







Development methodology







Requirements definition, design and analysis







Testing methodology







Sybase Powerbuilder Client Server Development Tool







Business Object Reporting (BO 5/6, BO XI R2)







J2EE/Java – JMS, JBoss, Eclipse framework, JFace user interface







XML







Eager and willing to learn different technologies, quick learner, not easily overwhelmed







Energetic self starter







Team player, willing to follow established methodology and direction







Willing to do anything necessary to make a project a success from A to Z, no matter how small the task







Good communication skills, good listener







Good presentation







Willing to work in a very flat organization, with no titles, little formality etc... must 'sense' the culture and work within it
