In fact, I run OS X 10.5.2 on my Sager 5793 laptop without much
trouble. It has some quirks, and some stuff doesn't work, but it's
very solid and reliable, and fast. I liked OS X so much I ended up
buying a Macbook Pro.

Apple is a hardware company; their software is specifically designed
to move their hardware. It works.
