I had to crack open my old mighty mouse. All you need is a phillips
screwdriver and a blunt edged pocket knife to crack open the glued
bottom part. But you have to be very careful of the flex connector in
there. I never liked those types of connectors. The little white box
over the roller pops off but you have to again be careful in prying it
off. Then the 4 little magnetic rollers need tweezers to handle... but
these can be cleaned and put back the way they went in. I used super
glue spots around the bottom to put it back together again and after
that I clean my mouse every week like the above article suggests to do.
I really don't like the design of the mouse. You'd think they'd just
contract out to Logitech for a good mouse.
