Sounds odd. According to the Dell website the "Dell? 2407WFP Flat Panel
Monitor" and the "Dell(TM) 2407WFP-HC Flat Panel Monitor" both have contrast
controls... which monitor do you have that does not?

No offense, but my guess is you know very little about your monitor or how
to set it up it you cannot find the contrast setting... but I will gladly
admit to an error if you can point to what monitor you have that lacks that
setting.

Look, this is silly. It's not an argument, it's an armor plated walrus with
walnut paneling and an all leather interior.
