In special relativity one either has a rubber ruler (and I think that is the
case) or one is a bi located observer (that is often the confusion). Has
anyone tried the experiment with mirrors on the trains engine and cabbose
and with the light going past the ruler at the front then at the back of the
train for real! we know that the one with the observer outside of the train
that observer is somewhat larger than his twin inside of the train and thus
his ruler fits his respective size. jumping between observers is the
confusion, not the proof.
