Do you demand that your children spend time every day on their knees
thanking you for their lives and praising you for everything you've done. If
they don't, do you punish them?

I would think that there are much better ways to spend your time and better
ways to guide your children.

Your god is an evil and petty one. I don't think I'll have much to do with
him.
