I'll add this issue to my list, Jim.

Have you consulted an attorney?

Yup; been to court; she lied through her teeth and got a restraining
order against me, in retaliation for the one I got against her after she
slugged me.

This makes no sense, and sounds like the prosecutor was snowing you
(probably so she wouldn't have to file a case, and thereby save the
tax payers money).

1. The prosecutor is female.
2. She does not know that I am legally disabled.
3. A cop friend of mine tells me most domestic violnce cases are never
prosecuted because 95% of spouses ultimately refuse to press charges. I'm a
5%'er!!!! LOL!!!

The wording of the statutes here:
http://www.showme.net/~capegadm/pa/INETDOMESTICVIO%20NEWCRIMES.htm
certainly does not specifiy the gender of the assaulter.

http://www.showme.net/~capegadm/pa/INETDOMESTICVIO%20ARREST.htm

I see that some of the Domestic Violence Centers in Missouri whose
webpages I pulled up do not use the term 'battered woman's shelter'
anymore. Now it's just 'family violence'.

Several years ago there was a men's group who protested that there was
no 'battered men's shelters' and talked about filing a lawsuit.

I would really push the matter, Jim. I wonder if a civil suit for
damages, pain and suffering could be filed.

That would keep me stuck here in Misery, and cost moolah.

Have you gotten a
restraining order? No one should get away with assaulting another.

Nobody should be able to hit someone else, unless to protect themselves.
All I did was pry her keys out of her hands. Even in her complaint she
alleges I "physically restrained" her, but all I did was take her keys so
she couldn't drive while hysterical and suicidal/homicidal in that huge ice
storm we had at New Years.....
I have half a mind (and I'm gonna use all of it!) to go down to the
prosecutor and make her day very uncomfortable......
Who does a DA answer to?
